SWIFFER SATURDAY SNIT

Swiffer Saturday Snit

1) Back to me, 2) Facing, but not looking at me, 3) Facing me but not happy

Well, yesterday was another bi-monthly Swiffer Saturday in the Honey-Life household and it was greeted with more attitude than ever before, as documented in the photos above. Apparently since Honey has made clear to me MANY times before how much she hates Swiffer Saturday and I have once again assaulted her space with the dreaded swiffer, and all it entails, I was due for extra punishment.

'Talk to the Back' went on and on. What was a quick 20-minute clean-up turned into an entire afternoon of snit as Her Royal Highness once again made her feelings very clear to me. When I approached her on the other side of the bed she would not even look at me for a while. Then she accepted pets but was still not pleased. I could see it in her eyes.

I apologized once again [Sorry 2004] but told her it would not end Swiffer Saturdays [so get used to it.]

Actually, we're doing just fine. In the past month the line between my space and Honey's continues to blur. She gets insecure at times when she ventures closer but we're doing great overall. Love her!

Honey is such a sweetie and she may never accept the Swiffer. I am sure you enjoy her just the same.

Dom fears the Swiffer. I think when it was a kitten it fell over and the noise spooked him, and ever since then he hides when it comes out of the closet.

Hee, I could run the really scary VACUUM CLEANER a few time; then the Swiffer would seem like nothing to her. She's a dear, and I find her little moods to be part of her personality. I just hate to see her upset.

Anyway, your kitty is soo cute! My three Kits run like tornados when I turn the vaccum on and you'd think the tredmill was enough to give them a heart attack!
Ive never tried the Swiffer...I just may have to pick one up! (If thats what your talking about! Haha! Im so blonde...so i could be confused!) Take Care and Be well!

I love reading about your cat. He reminds me of my cat Mackie who seems to hate human beings except at select times of his own choosing. Your Honey cat looks pretty smug in that last photo! Cute!

And I thought we had the only cats who hate the Swiffer.  They run from it and yet they cannot escape.  We just had wood floors put in the family room and bedroom,
(allergies and asthma precipitated this move) and the Swiffer is the BEST for rounding up those Dust Bunnies.  I worked with a woman whose husband was a neat freak (OC)  He called her at work one day to ask "Do you know there is a huge Dust Bunny in the corner of the living room?"  She said, "NO ,  but if you will hum a few bars,  I'll give it a try."  LOL  True story!!
Keep on Swiffering.  It does help with the sneezies and wheezies.
